Glitter Hair Roots Are In And They’re Seriously Cool

Earlier this week, we had rainbow roots, introduced by Lottie Tomlinson and now, it's all about glitter roots. Glitter and rainbows make for super fun trends which is perfect as we prep for the Christmas party season. While most of the hair trends we've had recently involve colour, this on is much simpler and you really only need glitter.

You can go for a subtle sprinkle or a full-on festive sparkle, depending on how much you apply. The experts say chunky glitter is best as fine particles won't hold properly and there's so many options: stars, holographic, multi-coloured and so on. You simply apply it your scalp using a foundation brush so you can literally paint it on (and to avoid getting it all over your hands) and then hold it in place with some styling gel. It may not be for everyone but there's no denying that it's super pretty.
