Guilty.
After a long day, you just want to remove all makeup, get into your PJs, tie your hair back and chill on the couch.
Of course, doing this as quickly as possible is our main goal and that's where we're going wrong.
Dermatologist Ranella Hirsch spoke to Glamour about this very subject recently and noted that it's SO important to take your time when removing makeup.
"Apply makeup remover and let it sit and sit some more" recommends the skin expert.
According to Ranella, this allows time for your chosen makeup remover to sink in and the "technology to do its work".
This means you won't wake up with smudgy black eyes and that nasty clumpy mascara residue will be a thing of the past.
It's such a simple thing to do but one that's SO very hard to put into practice when caught for time.
Another disadvantage of rushing your removal routine is that you tend to tug and drag at your skin, which of course can damage it over time.
That's enough to persuade me to get into the habit of taking an extra minute or two to take off my face, PROPERLY.
