Blusher scares me.
There I said it. All too often, I've painstakingly applied it only to end up with two pink cheeks, similar to a clown.
NOT the look I was aiming for.
In a bid to combat the painted-on look,
Elle UK has coined a new technique.
It sounds a little bonkers but at this stage, anything is worth a go.
Stripping, which you'd probably pronounce stripe-ing, as it refers to applying blusher in a stripe.
It also works for bronzer but seeing as we're in the depths of winter at present, we'll stick to the pink stuff.
You start with one cheek, sweep across the nose and then apply to the other cheek, in a striped motion.
We figure it could take a little practice but it has to be better than the standard way of applying it to the apples of your cheeks and ending up with two pink spots.
