Actress Diana Douglas Has Died At The Age of 92

Actress Diana Douglas, mother of actor Michael Douglas and former wife of Kirk Douglas, has died at the age of 92.

She is believed to have passed away at the Motion Picture and Television Fund retirement home in L.A., after a battle with cancer.

Diana and Kirk pictured together.

Diana was well-known for starring alongside ex-husband Kirk in The Indian Fighter in 1955 and It Runs in the Family in 2003.

They married in 1943, and had two sons Michael and Joel. The couple later divorced in 1951.

Diana went on to feature on television shows including Dynasty and The West Wing.

“She was a person much beloved by everyone,” Donald Webster, her husband of 15 years, told CNN.
