Amber Heard and Johnny Depp settle divorce case

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have reached a divorce settlement.

The couple's lawyers have been negotiating for the past number of days and the agreement was made official today. It's believed that the settlement is "close to ten million" and Amber is said to be donating some of the money to charity. In a joint statement released to the Daily Mail Online, the couple said:

"Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love.

"Neither party has lied nor made false accusations for financial gain. There was never any intent of physical or emotional harm".

"Amber wishes the best for Johnny in the future".

"Amber will be donating financial proceeds from the divorce to a charity. There will be no further public statements about this matter".

According to Variety, Amber had now withdrawn allegations that Johnny was abusive towards her during their marriage and is no longer seeking a restraining order against her former husband.

The couple married in 2014 and divorce papers were filed in May of this year.
