Wales scrum-half, Mike Phillips, was trending on Twitter yesterday after a 26-3 hammering by Ireland at the Aviva stadium.  Ulster's Paddy Jackson scored an impressive try in the later stages of the match, which ended in a cafuffle between Jackson and Welsh player, Liam Williams. As the saying goes, there's no show without Punch, and so Phillips got himself involved, prompting action from the Kearney brothers. The notorious number 9's actions did not sit well with Mullingar man, Niall Horan, who we can only assume was watching the game on a flat screen television in some swanky hotel room.

The One Direction star tweeted his disgust at Phillips' tactics, which seemed to have gone down well with Irish fans.

We're sure the Irish team will find the Welsh man's proposition for the young star as amusing as they did his antics yesterday. We also hope that Phillips knows The Beatles are in fact the biggest selling act of all time, so that's actually quite the compliment.
