Brody Jenner Breaks Silence On Kourtney And Scott Split

Brody Jenner has revealed he wasn’t shocked by Kourtney and Scott’s split – saying he was concerned when photos emerged of Scott being intimate while on holiday with his brunette stylist last week. During a TV interview with NBC’s Today show, Brody said that while he thought both Kourtney and Scott were great, he wasn’t surprised that the mum of three had called time on their relationship. Speaking to host Hoda Kotb, the 30-year old said: “Obviously Scott’s gone through some issues in the past. It’s unfortunate. Honestly, when I saw those pictures I just went ‘Uh oh.’ I even showed my girlfriend (Kaitlynn) and just went like, ‘This isn’t good.’" The split came as a shock to fans, who watched the pair face their ups and downs on the family reality TV show. Kourtney and Scott have three children together; Mason, 5, Penelope, who turns 3 this week, and son Reign, 6 months. They first became romantically involved in 2006, but split temporarily in 2010 before getting back together. According to People magazine, Scott has not been home in a month and is no longer welcome back. A source close to the family said: “She was over dealing with his constant lies and addictions. It was becoming a poor environment for the kids to be raised in and she refused to let that be the case. “Kourtney is willing to sacrifice her relationship with Scott in order to keep [her kids] safe. Her children are her first priority. She needs to protect herself and her family, so she knows this is the right decision.”
