Hollywood actor Charlie Sheen is to make a "revealing personal announcement" on the Today Show following reports that he has been diagnosed as HIV positive.
NBC confirmed on Monday that the
Two and a Half Men star will make the announcement live on their Tuesday show.

It has been widely reported in the tabloid media that the 50-year-old will use the platform to announce that he is HIV positive, with
TMZ among others citing sources close to the Today Show.
The site reports that Charlie was diagnosed over a year ago and that his former partners have threatened lawsuits as they were not made aware of his status.
Sheen has made headlines in recent years for erratic behaviour and drug use, culminating in him losing his job on Comedy Central's
Two and a Half Men.
