Cheryl Will Remain On The X Factor Panel “At All Costs”

According to reports, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini will be on this year's X Factor panel even if there are other changes. Simon Cowell is believed to to have told the former Girls Aloud star she is to remain on the judging panel "at all costs". However, it is not yet known how Mel and Louie will fare in the battle for the coveted positions.

An insider spoke to The Sun: "They haven't signed a deal yet but Simon, Cheryl and ITV are all on the same page.

'But that's really bad news for Mel. She had a good first year but bosses want a new line-up".

"Simon has accepted that Louis no longer has a job for life on The X Factor. His place on the panel is not guaranteed.

He's unlikely to stay because we are actively looking at new options for his role" a source told the publication.

Previous reports have suggested that there could be a number of changes this year and we already know that there will be a new presenter now that Dermot O'Leary has moved on.
