Danny Dyer Speaks Out About Controversial Fan Kiss Photo

EastEnders star Danny Dyer has found himself at the centre of controversy after he was pictured kissing a female fan on the lips. Danny, who plays landlord Mick Carter on the BBC soap, found himself in hot water after fan Michelle McIardie posted a picture of the pair locking lips to her Facebook page.

The fan posted a pic of the pair sharing a kiss. (Photo via Facebook.) A spokesperson for the actor has since come forward to insist the photo is innocent. He said: "One eager fan pursued him for a picture but he did no more than treat her to an innocent peck." The fan in question also emphasised that the kiss was all in the name of fun. She told The Mirror: "We had a quick kiss for the camera, but nothing happened. "I wasn’t just with him, the whole EastEnders crew were there."

Danny's longterm girlfriend Joanne proposed on Valentine's Day. The star got engaged to his long-term girlfriend and mother of his two children Joanne Mas when she proposed to him on Valentine's Day earlier this year. The 37-year-old bad boy, who has been the centre of numerous cheating controversies, has insisted that he has changed his ways. Earlier this year he told Hello! magazine "I thought the grass was greener – but the grass was horrible and I don’t ever want to go there again."
