Did Zayn Call Off His Engagement To Perrie By TEXT?!

News broke this week that Zayn Malik called off his engagement to Perrie Edwards, shocking fans all over the globe. While PEOPLE reported that Zayn "contacted" the Little Mix singer to end their three-year relationship, no further details were released as to the nature of the breakup.

The pair met in 2012 (image via Instagram).  However, reports are now surfacing that the 22-year-old former One Directioner broke the news to his fiance via a single text message. According to The Sun, an insider confirmed that the text was "unexpected" and that Zayn "has not been in contact (with Perrie) since". Perrie posted a ring-free shot to her Instagram earlier this week.  The source also apparently described Zayn as "an immature little boy with no thought for anyone else's feelings". We're guessing this insider is Team Perrie then...
