Emily Blunt is in talks to star as Mary Poppins in a reboot.
Last year it was revealed that Disney are going to bring the 1964 classic movie Mary Poppins back to our screens, with Rob Marshall (Into The Woods, Chicago) directing the new adaptation.
While a lot of people had concerns about a new version coming out when it was first announced, it came as a relief when it was revealed it wouldn't be the same storyline as we all know and loved.
It's reportedly going to be set in a depression-era London 20 years after the original film, following Mary Poppins continued adventures with the Banks family.
Variety has revealed that Emily Blunt is only in talks to play Mary so it's not a done deal just yet. We couldn't imagine anyone better for the role though so hopefully she signs on the dotted line for this one.
