Former Home and Away actress Tessa James has revealed that she is undergoing chemotherapy after being diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
The 23-year-old, who had been splitting her time between Queensland and Los Angeles since leaving the popular soap back in 2011, has apparently returned home to be with her husband Nate Myles (pictured above).
The couple released a statement to the Daily Telegraph. It read: “Tessa will be undergoing chemotherapy over the next few months. Tessa and Nate would like to thank all for their well wishes and would ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”
Tessa, who also starred in Neighbours, and Nate, the co-captain of the Gold Coast Titans, got married back in December 2011.
The actress played Nicole Franklin in Home and Away for three years.
