According to reports, Harrison Ford has been injured after crashing a small plane in Los Angeles earlier today.
It is believed that the single-engine plane, of which Ford was the pilot, crashed on a golf course in the Venice area of LA.
A number of American news outlets have reported that the actor suffered cuts to the head and was bleeding before emergency services took him to hospital.
“We can confirm that there was a plane crash and the male occupant was a 65-70-years-old man.
"He was transported to a local hospital in stable condition,” said Officer Nuria Vanegas of the Los Angeles Police Department.
“The incident was reported at 2:25pm, it was mechanical failure, that’s what caused the accident,” Vanegas added.
