They're expecting their first child early next year but the course of true love does not seem to be running smoothly for Dan Osborne and Jacqueline Jossa.
The TOWIE star set the rumour mill running earlier this week, when he posted a cryptic tweet suggesting that all was not well between himself and the Eastenders actress.
It is now being reported that the pair have decided to take some "breathing space" to decide on the future of their relationship, with a source telling The Sun that "it’s been a really difficult time for Dan".
"All the speculation is putting a huge strain on his relationships. Teddy [his son with Megan] has always been Dan's priority, and the new baby will be too. He just wants to be given the breathing space to be a good dad to both his children - who he is entirely dedicated to."
Dan and Jacqueline began dating earlier this year, after the 23-year-old welcomed son Teddy with ex-girlfriend Megan Tomlin.
The reality star was reportedly arrested at Tomlin's home last week on suspicion of assault, but was later released without charge.
"Megan is at breaking point. Dan makes out he’s the perfect role model, but she thinks he's far from it," a friend told Heat Magazine.
