Joni Mitchell was rushed to hospital on Tuesday afternoon after being found unconscious in her home in Bel Air.
According to a statement on the singer’s official website, she regained consciousness on the way to the hospital and is currently undergoing tests in intensive care.
The 71-year-old, who revealed last year that she has a rare skin condition that prevents her from performing, is said to be “awake and in good spirits.”
Joni is best known for the song Big Yellow Taxi. She was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of fame back in 1997.
