Actress Katherine Kelly and her new husband Ryan Clark are expecting their first child together.

The news comes not even a month after the couple tied the knot in Las Vegas.

Katherine Kelly took to Twitter to announce her pregnancy. 

The former Coronation Street star made the announcement in the early hours of this morning on Twitter.

She wrote: “Ryan & I are overjoyed to announce that we are expecting a baby! Feeling very blessed!”

Katherine and Ryan, who is an amateur boxer, dated for two years before they decided to elope at the end of last month.

Speaking about the special day to Hello! magazine, she revealed: “The day was everything we hoped it would be – no fuss, low-key, sunshine and just us.”
