Rumours have it Courteney Cox and her boyfriend Brian Van Holt have gone their separate ways after six months of dating.

The two Cougar Town stars got together during her divorce from husband David Arquette but it seems the romance wasn’t meant to last.

The Cougar Town co-stars started dating six months ago. 

According to Star magazine the former Friends star, who is yet to confirm or deny the reports, confided in fellow actress Isla Fisher about the split.

“She told Isla that she and Brian were fighting way too much,” an insider revealed before adding that it was an amicable break-up.

“There’s no hard feelings, but she wasn’t into the drama their relationship brought to the table.”

Courteney apparently turned to Isla Fisher. 

The news comes only a matter of days after Brian gushed to Us Weekly about his actress girlfriend. He told the publication: “Courteney’s amazing. Courteney’s phenomenal.”

If the rumours are true, it could make things slightly awkward for the pair who are due to start production on the fifth season of Cougar Town in the coming months.
