Tre Holloway has talked about his feelings for Cheryl Cole and their recent split.

Speaking to The Sun, the dancer revealed that he is still close to the singer.

He said: "She's an amazing person, an amazing woman, and we are good friends."

The two were spotted having dinner in London after watching an American football match at Wembley last month.

However, Holloway confirmed that they had already split by then and were spending time together as friends.

"She got us tickets and we got on the field - she was awesome," he said.

Tre is coping well since the split, keeping busy by travelling for work.

"I'm well, I'm tired but I'm well. I just got back from Australia, I was doing a little bit of dancing there”, said Holloway.

The couple met when Cheryl performed her single Promise This on the X Factor in 2010.
