Shock New Contestant Set To Enter The Celebrity Big Brother House

Katie Price is rumoured to be entering the latest series of Celebrity Big Brother on Friday, after the shocking early exit of two housemates from the show. According to reports, the reality TV personality and mum of five, has received a ‘six-figure sum’ to join the show. Television bosses hope Katie can keep the house entertained with her antics and outspoken opinions since they’re now down two contestants. Speaking about the rumours, Katie’s friend, and CBB’s Bit On The Side Presenter Rylan Clark dropped hints in December that the 36-year old would be taking part in the show: “Kate will do Celebrity Big Brother. I think it's inevitable that she will go in there, but when the time is right.” Katie’s ex-husband Alex Reid was previously a winner on the celebrity instalment of the show, while Katie has competed herself in the I’m A Celebrity Jungle. The news comes after yesterday night’s eviction was cancelled due to the decision to ask two housemates to leave the show. Over the weekend Jeremy Jackson was removed from the house following an alleged incident involving model Chloe Goodman, while former Coronation Street star Ken Morley is no longer in the house after using “unacceptable and offensive language.” A statement from the show read: “Ken Morley has been removed from the Celebrity Big Brother house for using unacceptable and offensive language following his formal warning.” This year’s series has been a source of controversy after Ofcom received hundreds of complaints from viewers about a number of housemates, including Ken.
