Taylor Swift introduces Tom Hiddleston to her parents

If (like me) you were incredulous about the whole Hiddleswift thing, you'll probably be taken aback by the latest development.

It seems that Taylor Swift has only gone and introduced Tom Hiddleston to her parents which is a pretty big deal as their relationship only came about in recent weeks. Now, maybe it's just me but meeting your other half's parents is a pretty big deal and usually comes with a certain amount of pressure and stress as you do your best to make a good impression. According to E! Online, Taylor was out with her parents for dinner this week in Nashville and afterwards, she brought them back to hers where they met Tom. Pure casual. NOT. It's also been reported that Tom has met a number of Taylor's friends with numerous pictures circulating this week.

Of course, given the fast-paced nature of their relationship, people have questioned it it's a 'rebound' thing for Taylor. Her split from Calvin Harris was confirmed less than a month ago and it was quite the shock considering how loved-up they appeared to be. However, a source told the publication that although, she was wary to get involved immediately after breaking up with Calvin, there was a strong attraction between her and Tom. The insider said:

"Taylor was hesitant to get involved so quickly after Adam but she felt that Adam was not giving her what she wanted for some time so she was ready to move on towards the tail end of their relationship anyway".

Elaborating on the connection between the pair, the source explained:

"She [Taylor] loves the fact that Tom acts like such a mature man. She loves that he is older. She feels very safe and protected with him. The attraction is very strong".
