In a touching parallel, the church in Sandringham was also host to the late Princess Diana's baptism and holds a special place in William's heart.
Now, according to People, the royal baby's christening will pay homage to her grandmother in more ways than one.
Princess Diana will be fondly remembered at the ceremony.
The publication has reported that the proud parents have chosen Diana's favorite photographer, Mario Testino, to capture the day.
Testino, who was behind the Vanity Fair portraits of the late royal before her death, also took William and Catherine's official engagement photos in 2011.
Mario famously photographed Diana in 1997.
A spokesman for the couple said: "The Duke and Duchess are delighted that Mario Testino will help capture this important moment for their family and look forward to sharing the photographs with the public."
The royal baby will be christened Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, in another nod to the dearly missed royal.
