The post now has over a million well-deserved likes and seemed to promise great things from him. But things took a sharp turn and the cracks started to show. David was out of his depth, but still pushing through like a champ. For me, the beauty lies in his captions. David's written personality is a bit like a loosely translated postcard you had to write to your French pen pal in school.
The above post is hilarious for a number of reasons: 1. Why did he use quotation marks? 2. Why is his Mam holding her fist up like they're preparing for a fight? 3. That post is actually magnificent. However, don't be under any illusions. Victoria 100% went through every photo they took (which was likely upwards of twelve), applied multiple filters and probably captioned it as well. You can't pull the wool over our eyes, Posh Spice.
Above is my absolute favourite David Beckham Instagram post of all time and he'll do well to beat it. I remember seeing it mere minutes after it was posted and considered it a gift from the Gods.
