Nicole Sherzinger and Lewis Hamilton have reignited rumours they are back together or are at least trying to work things out. The couple, who called time on their five-year relationship earlier this year, apparently caught up with each other on Monday night. Lewis and Nicole split after five years together. Formula One star Lewis was spotted leaving Nicole’s hotel in the early hours of Tuesday morning but while they may have wanted to keep the rendezvous a secret, his car ended up breaking down. A friend told The Sun newspaper: “They were determined to keep the meeting under wraps, which is why they chose a hotel that isn’t used much by celebrities. “Nicole will be livid Lewis’ car broke down because that’s what meant their cover was blown. He had to get out to let the mechanics sort out the issue.” The singer filmed an episode of Celebrity Juice this week (image via @lemontwittor). The source added: “There’s something that keeps pulling them back together, it’s as if they can’t resist each other.” It isn’t the first time The X Factor judge and her former flame have seen each other in recent months. A meeting in Los Angeles sent the reconciliation rumour mill into overdrive shortly after their split in July.
