When One Direction first split, there was the suggestion that they would reunite down the line but with each individual starting to branch out, it's harder and harder to see that happening.
Devastating news for their fans who had harboured a hope that 1D would get back together.
When the band split last year, their former mentor and music mogul, Simon Cowell wasn't quite sure what to make of the situation.
In conversation with Billboard, he said:
"I don't know if it's a hiatus or a breakup, to be honest. In a weird way, I don't want to know. "I don't think they've had enough time to experience what it's like not being in the group to really answer that".He also referred to Harry's solo career and was positive that it would prove successful:
"He'll work out what kind of record he wants to make because he's got great taste—which is always a help. "All the writers and producers want to work with him, understandably, but he probably won't rush into it".Only time will tell but with reports flying around that they're not getting on, Louis and Harry particularly, it's difficult to see a reunion happening.
