We're getting excited!
Only two months to go before Lorelai and Rory return and we get to see what they've been up to for the last nine years.
Each and every detail that has been released of late has gotten us more and more excited, for example the major
spoiler they released on Instragram and the first page of the
script.
But there's nothing we love more than hearing the cast talk about the revival.
Elle spoke to Scott Patterson who said he was hugely in favour of a reunion all along.
"I was very, very determined to bring it back,"
He feels like the fans are entitled to the four-parter coming to Netflix.
"I just thought the fans deserved it. I've been on other shows and I've known people on historic shows, but the fanbase for this show is amazing.
It's a religion to them. They get up and they watch it every morning before they go to work. They have to have it. It is beyond just fandom. Dedication on that level? Why not take up the cause and try to move the needle a little bit."
The on-screen dinner owner talks about how he wasn't ready for it to end when it did back in 2007.
"It's something I thought would never happen. The stars aligned and everybody had holes in their schedule and the will to do it. It was just really great to be there.
It ended so abruptly. I was on a film set in Toronto when I got a phone call that I didn't have a job anymore. I was like, 'Wow, that sucks.' So it was nice to come back. I was surprised at how much everybody appreciated every day and appreciated that level of work."
Sadly, Scott kept quiet about the plot of the new series but did say that the relationship between Luke and Lorelai was always great.
"The chemistry there is so electric."
