Jo Joyner To Return For Eastenders’ 30th Anniversary Celebrations

Eastenders is going from strength to strength as the popular soap gets ready to celebrate its 30th year. Lucy Beale's killer will be revealed during a special live show but there's sure to be plenty of other twists and turns too. Jo Joyner, who played Tanya Branning, is returning to the soap for at least two episodes. Speaking to Digital Spy, the actress said she is looking forward to reprising her role as Tanya. Jo pictured with Jake Wood, who plays her on-screen husband Max "I'm thrilled to be a part of the 30-year celebrations of a show that I am proud to have been a part of. "One of the best things about soap is that it's steeped in history. We all had a generation of characters that we grew up with - mine were 'Chelle and Sharon, and Tiff and Bianca! It's great that people can pop back in and help create that depth to the show. "I'm really looking forward to working with everyone again, no matter how briefly. I hope I didn't kill Lucy!"
