Major Hollywood star could appear on Coronation Street

Sex in the Coronation Street? Of all the people to grace the Weatherfield cobbles, this is the last person we thought would be in talks for a role. Hollywood actress Kim Cattrall has revealed that she was once asked to be a part of Coronation Street but couldn't commit to it at the time. Best known for playing Samantha in HBO's Sex and The City, Kim would definitely make an interesting addition to the show. She appeared on Good Morning Britain earlier this week to promote her new show, Sensitive Skin, and while on the show she spoke about how she was once in talks with the Corrie producers for a role. She also hinted that she would be up for doing it if she was asked again. She said, "They did offer me a part, but I wasn't available, so maybe they will ask me again." Here's hoping it will happen.
