Sharon Osbourne has confirmed that TV show The Osbournes will be returning to our screens very soon. The show, which paved the way for thousands of reality TV shows, was a massive success when it was released almost ten years ago. The programme gave viewers an insight into the weird and wonderful life of the famous music family and now, Sharon has revealed that an “update” on the family is on the cards. “At most, there will only be six to eight episodes and a catch-up on our lives and where we are now,” she explained to her co-hosts on The Talk. “Our family has grown, we have a granddaughter and a gorgeous daughter-in-law.” Indeed, much has changed in the family since the door into their world was closed to viewers and Sharon admitted that it was actually husband Ozzy who decided to bring the cameras back into their lives. “It was all my husband’s doing,” she continued. “He looked back on his life and he said, ‘I wish we could have done The Osbournes now when I’m clean and sober.’” Filming is reported to begin in early 2015 with the series set to screen later in the year.
