One X Factor act has been suspended from the live shows

They won't be performing tonight.

The Brooks Brothers, who are finalists in the groups category, have been suspended from The X Factor. Producers of the show have only just revealed the news which will see the singing duo absent from the first live shows tonight. According to The Mirror, twins Josh and Kyle have been suspended over allegations relating to Josh and his ex-girlfriend Amelia Clarke. A source revealed, "They’re investigating serious allegations about Josh allegedly sending threatening messages to her.” Another source told The Daily Star, "They are not being replaced by another act - there will simply be 11 acts, not 12. Show bosses have not axed them - they have been suspended while the show has a chance to investigate claims.” They added, "Not only are the brothers heartbroken and in tears but all the contestants are totally devastated." They were removed from the house the contestants are living in earlier today and are said to be staying in a hotel in London. They won't be performing in Wembley Arena tonight when the live show kicks off.
