As Cher would say, that is WAY harsh. Simon Cowell left Amanda Holden speechless this week when he phoned her up to tell her she was sacked from Britain’s Got Talent. The X Factor judge pulled off the prank as part of a radio skit with Nick Grimshaw, but Amanda, however, was not very impressed. Simon played a mean prank on Amanda. “I did wind Amanda up on the show. I told her she was being replaced for three days a week by Cheryl on the live shows because she is younger and knows more about music,” he explained. Amanda fell for the prank stating: “No she’s bloody not replacing me!” Cheryl is a judge on 'The X Factor'. Later, she admitted that she finally saw the funny side but added: “I have to say, I felt really bitter about Cheryl. “And she doesn’t know anything about it!
