Strictly star Karen Hauer was left in tears following last night’s semi-final, after judge Len Goodman criticised her choreography putting act Mark Wright at risk of elimination.
Karen and Mark performed two dances – a Viennese Waltz which was largely praised, and a rumba while dancing to Eva Cassidy’s Fields of Gold. Head judge Len Goodman was unimpressed by the pair on their second outing, delivering harsh criticism to the trained dance partner.

During the judge’s feedback, Len criticised the performance saying:
“It needed more hip action and recognisable rumba, it’s not your fault Mark, it was Karen's choreography.”
Despite the mixed reaction, the duo walked away with 33 points, with fellow judge Craig Revel Horwood pleased by the dance because it “broke tradition and upset Len”.
Karen looked visibly upset while speaking to presenter Claudia Winkleman, worrying she had let TOWIE partner Mark down.

Both Mark Wright and Karen’s fiancé Kevin Clifton offered support to the dancer, who broke down on stage.
Mark is now tipped to be in the bottom two for tonight’s show, and bookies believe he will be competing with Jake for a place in the final.
