The 2015 People’s Choice Awards were held on Wednesday night with some of the biggest names in entertainment coming together for the event.
With a number of categories up for grabs it was Taylor Swift who led the way with three awards on the night (Favourite Female Artist, Pop Artist and Favourite Song for
Shake it Off). Jennifer Lawrence nabbed two awards winning Favourite Movie Actress and Favourite Action Movie Actress as too did Robert Downey Jr. (Favourite Movie Actor, Favourite Dramatic Movie Actor) and Ed Sheeran (Favourite Male Artist, Favourite Album).
There were 44 speeches on the night which was hosted by Anna Faris and Allison Janey while Iggy Azalea and Fall Out Boy were just two of the acts that kept the crowds entertained.

Ben Affleck scooped the award for Favourite Humanitarian while
Maleficent bagged the awards for Favourite Movie and Favourite Family Movie.
Divergent was voted as Favourite Action Movie while
22 Jump Street won Favourite Comedic Movie – with Adam Sandler snapping up the award for Favourite Comedic Movie Actor.
Other movies that proved to be hits included
Gone Girl and
The Fault in Our Stars, while
The Big Bang Theory nabbed two awards for Favourite TV Show and Favourite Network TV Comedy.
Ellen DeGeneres was voted Favourite Daytime TV Host while cult series
Orange is The New Black won Favourite Drama.
