We don't know how to feel about this.

Over a week ago after we found out that Mel and Sue would not be moving to Channel 4 to host The Great British Bake Off some names were suggested as their replacements. People like Alan Carr and Anna Richardson were named. Alan and Anna both have massive connections with Channel 4. Alan has his chat show and Anna has worked on shows such as The Sex Education Show, Supersize vs Superskinny, You Are What You Eat and Secret Eaters. While those two were slightly unexpected the next two names linked with the hosting roles were the last people we could have thought of. A number of sources are now saying that the Chuckle Brothers could be in the running to take over from Mel and Sue. Since their names have been mentioned they have shared a statement with ITV's This Morning about their involvement saying:

"We normally like to keep things confidential, but as this rumour is out on social media we would like to say, that we can’t deny or confirm that we have been approached to host The Bake Off!"
