The X Factor judges’ categories have been revealed and there’s one big surprise

The X Factor hasn't even started back properly yet and apparently, the judges' categories have been revealed.

If you've been a fan of the show for some time, then you'll know that Louis Walsh previously worked with the Groups, Sharon Osbourne was with the Overs and Nicole Scherzinger mentored the Boys. However, there's one big surprise according to The Daily Star, with Simon Cowell working with the Girls for the first time ever. Although this is his first time to work with the girls' category, he previously mentored Leona Lewis back in 2006 when the groups were mixed by age, and she went on to win the show. Nicole too will be hoping after success after two contestants from the male category that she had managed in 2012, Jahmene Douglas and James Arthur, made it to the final of the show. If the rumours are to be believed, then this will be Louis Walsh's sixth time working with the groups on the X Factor not to mention his stint on Popstars:The Rivals where he worked with Girls Aloud, who as we know went on to become very successful. Sharon has previously worked with the Overs and in 2013, Sam Bailey was crowned the winner of the X Factor so she's likely to be happy with having this category again. It seems that the news of the judges categories was leaked during the Six Chair Challenge when a live studio audience were invited along to watch. Of course, the excitement was all too much and this is how the news was leaked, according to reports. There hasn't been any official confirmation as of yet but with the show returning next month, there isn't too long to wait to find out.
