Tomorrow night's line-up...

Sue Murphy

You better get ready for spending the night in front of the TV tomorrow night, or alternatively searching everywhere for a party. Either way, you might be watching the Late Late Show. Here is the line-up for tomorrow night’s show.

The Late Late Show on RTÉ One promises something a little different this Friday night with four very well-known personalities will transform themselves into four iconic pop stars. It’s all in aid of charity on a very special version of the programme – “Late Late Show – Reach for the Stars”.

Popular RTÉ newscaster Eileen Whelan usually brings us the headlines, but this week she will be making headlines as she transforms herself into a sixties pop sensation and all in aid of the Laura Lynn Children’s Hospice.

Bestselling author Cathy Kelly has really risen to the challenge. She has even been working on dance moves in her spare time. She’s taking on a very big challenge this Friday but she is very determined to succeed. And for Cathy it will all be worth it if she manages to raise money for her chosen charity UNICEF.

You’ll get a glimpse of athlete and Senator Eamonn Coghlan as you’ve never seen him before. Eamonn will sing his heart out, bust some moves and give it everything he’s got to help the charity Console.

“Baby Max, Wings of Love” is the charity close to television presenter Emma O’Driscoll’s heart. On Friday night you’ll see her as you have never seen her before as she emulates one of her favourite singers of all time.

The contestants have worked hard and there’s bound to be some nerves, but by Friday night they will be ready to reach for the stars. The viewers at home will get to vote for their favourite performance and proceeds from the vote will go to the relevant charities.

As well as that the most famous car in the world, KITT from Knight Rider will be in studio. And superstar pianist Lang Lang will also be performing on the show.

That’s the Late Late Show – Reach for the Stars, RTÉ One, Friday 9.35PM.
