Fantasy, sci-fi and horror are all popular at the moment on TV and it looks like CBS are ready to take full advantage of the genre.  A revamped version of popular late 90s TV show Charmed is going into production. The original series focused on a sisterhood of witches who used their magical powers for good and the reboot is being described as a “re-imagining” of the show. CBS TV Studios has all of the rights to the Spelling library and is producing the project alongside the Tannenbaum Company. The reboot itself is still in very early development with only the script for a pilot being ordered thus far. The original series ran for eight seasons and starred Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan. Will we see any of the old cast make cameos or have lead roles? Who knows.
