Saving human lives is cool and all, but saving small animals from close death definitely makes you a hero too.
Vets at the Animal Specialty Hospital of Florida gave this panther cub emergency life-saving measures after he was found cold and barely breathing in a wildlife refuge.
The kitten is as adorable and harmless as a full grown house cat now but will have to wait a little while longer to be released into a fenced wildlife park, as he hasn't learned survival skills necessary to live in the wild.
For now he's at Lowry Park in Florida, which has rescued several other injured panthers and abandoned panther kittens - so things are looking up for him.
