Viewers everywhere couldn’t handle tonight’s ‘Coronation Street’

NO-ONE could keep the tears in.

The fallout from the death of much-loved resident Kylie Platt only seems to be beginning. Tonight's episode mainly featured Kylie's funeral and the unveiling of Todd and Billy's relationship. The entirety of the street turned up to pay their respects to David's deceased wife Kylie, who was stabbed by local gangster Clayton and later bled to death in her husband's arms. Kylie's young son Max took to the altar to read a touching eulogy to his mother, which broke viewer's hearts everywhere.

Standing on the altar with his grieving stepdad David, Max bid his mother a final goodbye and Corrie fans everywhere couldn't contain their sadness for his loss.

Tonight's episode also lifted the lid on Todd and Billy's burgeoning relationship which they were trying so hard to conceal from Billy's ex, Sean. Many expressed sympathy for long-term bachelor Sean...
