We’d be lying if we said we felt like there was no place for the Kardashians on this planet.
They’re our go-to klan for makeup tips, celebrity warfare, and squat inspiration. And while they’re all well-versed in the above, Khloé has just proven that there are some areas of expertise they should stay away from.
The younger Kardashian recently attempted to offer her legions of fans advice on vaginal health. Taking to her blog, Khloé wrote:
“No joke: Vitamin E may strengthen vaginal lining!!! Moisturize your labia and vagina with Vitamin E oil to combat dryness and soothe irritation.”

Now, thankfully most women realise that adding anything to your vagina
can alter its natural pH balance.
The pH balance is a delicate balance that makes the vagina hostile to bacteria. If you put stuff in there that changes the pH, you can allow bacteria to overgrow.
Khloés recent advice alarmed gynecologists.
Speaking to
Glamour, obstetrician Pari Ghodsi revealed that while adding vitamin E to your vagina has some benefits, it certainly won’t produce the results KK is promoting.
“You can put vitamin E oil in and around your vagina—it can act as a natural lubricant and moisturizer,” says Dr. Pari.
“With that said, if you do not suffer from vaginal dryness, it is unnecessary.”
“It can help soothe and lubricate your vaginal lining, but that doesn't necessarily equate to strength,” he continues.
“The best way to strengthen your vagina is through pelvic floor exercises such as Kegel exercises.”
Dermatologist Dr. Neal Schultz further advises against using the oil, suggesting that the product would cause more irritation than relief.
“There is a high rate of contact dermatitis to pure vitamin E on regular skin, such as the front and outer sides of the vagina, and I would expect an even higher rate of irritation on mucous membranes like the labia minora and the inner vagina,” said Dr. Schultz.
“If it’s a pure vitamin E, in consideration of possible irritation in a very sensitive area, I suggest not using it,” he continued.
“If it's a trace ingredient, then it probably won't hurt but may not help either.”
All in all, it looks like Khloé may have just been over sharing. Sorry Khloe, you’re on your own on this one.
