When it comes to trying to improve your sex life, there are many ways you can approach it and sometimes heeding that advice works out for the best.
A study has shown that having one particular trait is guaranteed to better your sex life and it comes in the form of altruism -i.e. expressing concern for others.
Studies published in the
British Journal of Psychology have proven that people who volunteer or participate in charity work have more sex and a better quality of sex.
In one study, takers of the survey admitted that the more altruistic work they participated in, the more sexual partners they gained.
Men who volunteer were deemed more likely to have a higher number of sexual partners with altruistic women confirmed to have more attentive lovers.
As the first study was based on people's own estimation of how charitable they were, researchers held a second study where subjects were given €100 and had to decide how much money to donate.
Surprisingly, the results matched the first study as subjects who were willing to donate more money were also the ones who had the most sexual partners over the past year.
The founders of the study confirmed the news that being a good person apparently makes you more susceptible to get the ride.
