A Replica Titanic Ship Is Going To Set Sail In 2018

Titanic II is on the way…

106 years after the original Titanic set out on its ill-fated voyage, a replica version is due to launch. It’s the brainchild of an Austrailian billionaire, Clive Palmer and his company, Blue Star Line.

According to the Belfast Telegraph, the new ship is due to set sail in 2018, two years after the initial plans, and will be a complete replica of the original ship.

The only difference will be the width, as it needs to be four metres wider to meet modern maritime safety regulations.

It will have nine floors with 840 cabins to accommodate 2,400 passengers and 900 crew members.

People will also be able to choose between first, second and third-class tickets, like they would have back on its maiden voyage in 1912.
