Cork's Valerie Mulcahy.
Both sides came into the game off the back of provincial final defeats to Kerry and Westmeath, but in the end, it was Cork's experience that drove them to victory over a young Meath side.
Aside from O'Sullivan, Valerie Mulcahy, Ciara O’Sullivan, Rhona Ní Bhuachalla and Orlagh Farmer also goaled for Cork on the day, while Victoria Wall impressed for the Royals, hitting three well-taken points from play.
Now Cork have set up a tantalising quarter-final encounter with Galway on August 15th.
