Harvard Psychologist Says This Is The Perfect Way To Spend A First Date

Or it could be super awkward!

Interesting.

Harvard psychologist Amy Cuddy says that the ideal activity on a first date is going for a walk.

In an interview with 92Y, the Harvard business school professor and brains behind Presence: Bringing Your Boldest Self to Your Biggest Challenges, says simplicity is best when meeting a potential partner for the first time.

Amy elaborated on her personal love life and explained that for their first date, she and her now husband went for a walk and it was the ideal way to get to know each other.

They first met through Facebook and decided to meet in Paris while they were both there for work.

Although they were both extremely nervous, they walked all over the city and Amy says this was “so much better than sitting in a restaurant, sitting still and trying to get to know each other. Walking allowed us to move and to expand”.

That first date went so well that they continued seeing each other and now they’re married.
