Last year in the United States, there were 1,239 new baby names and believe us when we say, there were some VERY strange inclusions.
To get on the “new baby name list” there needs to be five babies with the same name and we found it very surprising that some of these actually exist.
- Royaltee was a new inclusion for this year’s list followed by Princecharles, Kinganthony and Kingmichael.
- Say “clutch” and we immediately think of handbags. Not anymore because this word is now apparently a trendy name for a boy. Yes, really.
- We had to double check this one because according to Nameberry, the name Sadman was given to five baby boys in America last year.
- We’ve heard of the name Cash and Rich isn’t a surprising choice either but Billion, the name given to five baby boys last year has us completely stumped.
- Upton was another name to make the list of boy names and Londynne was the name chosen for nine baby girls.
- Safari, Brilliant and Acer also made the list of new baby names.
