According the study, those who go for sushi on the first date are 170 per cent more likely to see each other again.
The reasoning? It's all down to dopamine - the chemical associated with adventure and reward.
Because sushi is a little bit out there, it signals a release of this adventure chemical. This coupled with the circulation and alertness-boosting omega-3 found in sushi means it's a winner all round.
If you feel like continuing the good vibes after dinner, cocktails are the way to go, with those who sip on them 130 per cent more likely to meet again.
Just take it easy on those babies, as we would imagine crying to him about the fight you had with your primary school bestie significantly lowers your second date chances.
