A Portuguese man named Valdir appeared on a national breakfast show Hoje Em Dia, as part of a segment on a reality show charting body modification A Transformação Mais Incrível. According to Cosmopolitan, Valdir entered a competition on the show under the screen title: "The transformation of Valdir: Tired of the jokes, he switched thinness with many muscles."
