Well the story didn’t end there. The internet went absolutely mental on Friday of this week when two almost identical men boarded the same Ryanair flight this week. Scottish man Neil Thomas Douglas was travelling to Ireland when he bumped into someone who was the absolute image of him on the flight.

The picture of the two men went viral after Lee Beattie posted a snap of them on Twitter, but it turns out the story didn’t end there. Not only did the two men share (basically) the same face, but it looks like their itinerary for their trip to Ireland was near enough identical. Speaking to Buzzfeed, Beattie said: “Neil checked into his hotel in Galway to find his doppelganger checking into the same hotel as him.” We sh*t you not. Things went from weird to… well, weirder though. “Later that night, Neil went to the pub and again, there was his twin. Total weirdness. They had a laugh and a pint.”

This is obviously the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
