This is a creature of MONSTROUS proportions.

Spiders, like many creatures are friendly enough but it's the sight of them that freaks people out. I can confirm I am not afraid of spiders but the looks of a big one still gives me a serious dose of the creeps. Spotted on JOE.ie, one gigantic spider has royally freaked out the ladies of the Her desk and for good reason. Local Superman, Clive Lawler from Taghmon in Wexford found a little 'friend' in his house but he was so unaffected that he didn't stand on it immediately, but rather, had a good look and took a few snaps of it for good measure. According to him, the tarantula spider measured in at about 3 inches in diameter and looking at these pictures, we're surprised he kept his cool and didn't have post-traumatic stress disorder after his encounter. For those of you that are of the faint-hearted, I would strongly advise you look away now... MOTHER OF JAYSUS. As the weather gets colder, consider these photos the official start of Spidember - the month of September when our little spidey friends decide they want to join us indoors. YIKES.
