Considering how the Ryder Cup and the K Club are inextricably linked, it was no surprise that our country's leader was asked about the golfing competition, but how he described it is the one thing that has left us a little bemused.
The Ryder Cup, the men's golfing competition between teams from Europe and the USA was described by Kenny as a clash between Britain and the United States.
AH ENDA.
